Dashboard Projects We've Built
Over the past three years, we've worked with manufacturing companies, trading firms, and retail businesses to create financial dashboards that actually get used daily. Not the kind that sit in a folder somewhere.
Each project here represents a different challenge. Some clients needed to consolidate data from five different systems. Others wanted their accountants to stop spending six hours a week on manual reports. A few just needed something their CFO could understand without calling IT every time.
Selected Client Work
Manufacturing Operations Dashboard
A Hsinchu-based electronics manufacturer was tracking costs across three facilities using spreadsheets that different teams updated at different times. We built them a single dashboard that pulls from their ERP and shows production costs, inventory values, and margin analysis updated every morning at 6 AM.
Multi-Currency Trading Platform
An import-export company needed to track transactions in seven currencies and see their exposure in real time. Their previous setup meant waiting until month-end to know if they'd hedged correctly. Now they check a single screen that shows currency positions, upcoming payment obligations, and hedging recommendations based on their risk tolerance.
Retail Chain Financial Overview
A retail chain with twelve locations wanted to spot underperforming stores faster. We created a dashboard that shows daily sales, inventory turnover, and labor costs by location. The regional manager now catches problems on Tuesday instead of finding out about them in the monthly meeting.
What Changed After Implementation
These aren't dramatic transformation stories. Just practical improvements that made finance teams' work lives easier and gave management better visibility into their numbers.
Electronics Manufacturer
Hsinchu, Taiwan
Their finance team was spending Friday afternoons compiling cost reports from three different systems. Now they pull up the dashboard on Monday morning and the weekend report is already there. The production managers check it before their weekly planning meetings.
Dashboard deployed February 2024, refinements completed March 2024
Import-Export Trader
Taipei, Taiwan
They were calculating foreign exchange exposure manually every week. Sometimes catching it too late to hedge effectively. The new dashboard flags exposure levels that exceed their thresholds and shows them immediately when a new invoice gets entered.
Initial version July 2024, alert system added August 2024
Retail Chain
Taichung Region, Taiwan
Store managers were emailing daily sales numbers to regional office. Someone had to compile them into a spreadsheet. Then format it for the weekly review. Now each store's POS data flows into the dashboard automatically and everyone sees the same numbers at the same time.
Rollout completed November 2024 across all locations
Professional Services Firm
Kaohsiung, Taiwan
A consulting firm needed to track project profitability but their timesheet system didn't talk to their accounting software. We connected both into a dashboard that shows margin by project, by client, and by consultant. Now they know which projects are profitable while they're still running them.
